Construction Project: Tamborine Prize Home
Challenge
CBC was tasked with developing a stunning outdoor area and completely refurbishing the interior of a house for the Endeavour Foundation's prize home initiative. The key challenges included extreme weather conditions, rocky ground, and the remote location of the site in Tamborine. These factors posed significant risks to the timely and successful delivery of the project.
The Solution
CBC undertook a comprehensive approach, starting with a detailed site assessment and consulting phase. The construction planning was methodical, ensuring all possible challenges were accounted for. The project management team orchestrated the construction activities, which included building a 2.1m retaining wall with built-in garden bedding, installing a 10m x 4.5m pool alongside an architecturally designed cabana, and refurbishing the home's interior with new painting, electrical upgrades, designer cabinetry, and HVAC systems. The surrounding landscape was also enhanced with 550m² of new turf. Despite the weather and terrain challenges, CBC's dedication and expertise ensured the project was delivered on time.
