Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2019 – Four Cure

CBC’s Director, Ermond Morelli, along with three of his closest mates, Phill Critcher, Ken Smith & John Volkanovski have raised over $60,000 in aid of finding a cure for prostate cancer.

Following last year’s Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, where Ermond raised over $10,000 to help the fight against prostate cancer and men’s mental health, once again, he has polished his Harley and dressed in his best clothes to ride for a cure.

This year was extra special as Ermond and his 3 friends have come together to form a team, aptly named “Four Cure”. Each of the team members have in many ways been affected, from friends to family members with prostate cancer and have experienced the terrible effects on them and their families. The four team members vowed to raise over $50,000 as a team and lead the way in funding support for a cure.

CBC’s Offices have been generous in their donations, contributing $500 each from the Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Newcastle and Blacktown Offices, where CBC’s Head Office contributed a further $1,000 towards the cause.

CBC’s subsidiary companies CBC Self Storage and EC Morelli providing equally impressive donations, to the tune of $5,000 and $2,000 respectively.

Donations are being accepted throughout October, and we encourage all donations to support this great cause.

About the ride: The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride unites classic and vintage style motorcycle riders all over the world to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was founded in Sydney, Australia by Mark Hawwa. It was inspired by a photo of TV Show Mad Men’s, Don Draper astride a classic bike and wearing his finest suit. Mark decided a themed ride would be a great way of connecting niche motorcycle enthusiasts and communities while raising funds to support the men in our lives.
